Global Business Services
Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to the Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. In India, it operates as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation.
Job Description
The Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization supports clients and employees by working with development technology teams to design, implement and support applications and infrastructure. CTI teams provide core services such as network, cloud and compute capacity, enterprise storage and databases used to host trading applications, payment systems, mobile applications and other end-user applications.
Technical Analysts perform commoditized activities such as monitoring, event management, service requests and engineering, and build foundational experience in network, systems, application, access requests, production support or security engineering.
Responsibilities
You will deploy and support the core infrastructure that underpins the daily operations of the bank, including networks, hosting, cloud platforms and mainframe. You will also work with platform teams and Business Technology Groups to build automated processes.
You may work in one of the following teams within Global Technology:
- Hosting, Application and Database Services: infrastructure capacity planning, Windows, Unix and Cloud operations, storage and database management
- Network Services: internal and external network management, network service assurance
- Business Operations: business management, financial management, risk and controls
- Datacenter Services and Portfolio Management: datacenter projects and operations, infrastructure project management
- Mainframe Services: mainframe engineering and operations
Other duties include:
- Managing and prioritizing assigned tasks
- Following procedures reliably, responding with urgency and escalating to senior team members when needed
- Opening triage bridge lines, updating the bridge board and engaging teams as required
- Monitoring installed systems and infrastructure
- Maintaining solutions aligned to security, redundancy and archiving standards
- Supporting client onboarding and change activities
- Ensuring high levels of system and infrastructure availability within a technical domain
- Handling event management and request fulfilment
- Writing and maintaining documentation
Skills Exposure
Infrastructure support, provisioning and asset lifecycle, monitoring tools, network routing and switching, Splunk, Windows Server administration, Linux, VMware, firewalls and shell scripting.

- Good problem solving and analytical skills
