Role Overview
The Apprentice - Enterprise Technology Services role is part of a 12-month paid apprenticeship program designed to develop technical skills, provide networking opportunities, and engage with senior leaders. Apprentices contribute directly to projects that strengthen the core business operations of American Express.
Key Responsibilities
- Write code in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, and Python.
- Collaborate in agile teams to work on API specifications, conduct code reviews, and perform testing during sprints.
- Design and develop customer-facing applications for multiple channels including iOS, Android, web, and social media integrations.
- Create and implement web-enabled systems for data collection.
- Participate in proof-of-concept projects and automation tool development.
