Job Description

The 'Customer Growth Marketing Analytics' team is part of the Analytics, Investment and Marketing enablement (AIM) group within GCS (Global Commercial Services) Marketing at American Express. This team leads innovative analytics across Marketing channels for the US SME segment to drive internal acquisitions with increased and sustainable engagement levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Finance and US Consumer to align on the Cardmember value (CMV) framework
• Collaborate with finance to create robust behavioral inputs for investment optimization and targeting iCMV
• Understand the cardmember value framework for internal acquisitions and drive enhancements
• Partner with channel owners in the NY team to optimize channel ROI
• Resolve issues, identify opportunities, and define success metrics
• Engage and influence partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration

Qualifications

• Strong analytical/conceptual thinking to solve business problems
• Ability to manage several concurrent projects through cross-team collaboration
• Expertise in Hive, Python, PySpark, SQL, and statistical modeling techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and across a matrix organization
