Role Overview

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leading payment card issuer for businesses in the United States and several international markets. GCS supports business owners and companies with products and services that help them run and grow.

As a GCS trainee apprentice, you will support GCS India Operations. The role includes structured training, collaboration with teams, and the chance to experience the wider American Express environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business operations that support GCS India, and assist teams and leaders with customer deliverables and control activities so service delivery stays seamless.
• Follow Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and American Express compliance standards in all operational processes.
• Carry out tasks in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and keep process quality consistent and accurate.
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to get assigned tasks, initiatives, and projects executed smoothly.
• Spot process gaps and suggest improvements that increase efficiency, improve the client and customer experience, and strengthen the control environment.
• Keep performance high by ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and quality in all deliverables.
• Provide operational support, including building and maintaining reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for ongoing activities.
