Job Description
An apprenticeship opportunity titled Apprenticeship in Digital CoE for ERP is available at Airbus India in Bangalore. The role is part of the Digital department supporting the ERP Center of Excellence team.
This program is planned for a duration of 12 months and is expected to start in July 2026 (date may be flexible). The apprenticeship provides exposure to digital ERP applications and enterprise technologies within a global organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of digital ERP applications including SAP and non-SAP solutions.
- Assist with gathering business requirements and help configure SAP modules such as Finance, Materials Management, and Sales.
- Provide technical assistance related to ABAP and Basis, including backend coding support, troubleshooting, and maintaining system performance.
- Work on scripts, automation utilities, and data processing activities.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development practices.
- Maintain and update system documentation, user guides, and technical specifications.

- Build experience communicating between technical teams and business users.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management concepts.
- Understanding of ERP systems and enterprise application environments.
- Programming knowledge in Java or Python.
- Familiarity with data structures, object-oriented programming, and file handling.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of databases.
- Understanding of APIs and web services.
