Job Description
Join the Powerplant Performance team within the Airbus Design Office in Bangalore, working in the Propulsion Performance and Thermal Management domain. The role contributes to advancing aircraft propulsion technologies and supporting the development of future Airbus aircraft.
Key Activities
- Develop, validate, and integrate engine performance models with airframe systems.
- Carry out detailed performance analysis and propulsion system sizing across different phases of flight.
- Evaluate key gas turbine parameters such as thrust and fuel consumption, and investigate engine data where required.
- Ensure engine performance aligns with certification requirements and support the analysis of flight test data.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Exposure to data analysis and gas turbine modeling is considered beneficial.
Required Technical Expertise
- Gas turbine engine performance and cycle analysis.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
- Programming experience with MATLAB and Python.
