Role Overview

Zycus is seeking a curious and hands-on AI Analyst Intern who is interested in experimenting with AI, Gen-AI, and agentic tools within post-sales operations. The position focuses on exploring practical AI-driven solutions that improve workflows and operational efficiency.

The intern will work closely with senior leadership, including the North American Chief Customer Officer, to help accelerate AI adoption across implementation, support, customer success, and expansion teams.

Key Responsibilities

Process Discovery and Opportunity Mapping

• Assist in identifying inefficiencies and friction points across support, implementation, and customer success workflows.
• Help maintain a backlog of AI and automation ideas for experimentation.

Rapid Prototyping and Experimentation

• Support development of small prototypes such as chatbots, workflow automations, or dashboards using low-code tools, Python, or notebooks.
• Work with team members to test concepts and validate potential use cases.

Pilot Support and Iteration

• Assist in deploying and monitoring pilot solutions with internal teams.
• Gather feedback, track usage metrics, and support improvements during iterations.

Learning and Knowledge Sharing

• Stay updated on emerging AI tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Support preparation of demos, documentation, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer

• Create simple documentation, prompt libraries, and reports that help scale successful AI pilots.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with global teams across delivery, support, and customer success to understand business requirements and contribute to AI initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of AI or machine learning concepts, or automation tools.
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or data handling through academic work or projects.
• Ability to approach problems analytically and communicate ideas clearly.

Good to Have

• Exposure to frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, or similar technologies.
• Coursework or projects related to AI, data analytics, or automation.
• Understanding of SaaS environments or customer-facing operations.

Nice to Have

• Personal or academic projects involving AI, chatbots, or automation tools.
• Participation in hackathons, AI communities, or related technical events.
