Job Overview
Adobe is hiring a Software Quality Engineer to contribute to the development and testing of innovative features in ColdFusion, a powerful server-side web application platform. The candidate will work with Java, ColdFusion, databases, automation frameworks, and web servers to enhance and optimize platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with ColdFusion engineers to develop and implement new features
- Identify and validate innovative ColdFusion features throughout the development process
- Author and implement detailed test plans for feature certification
- Develop and optimize automation workflows for rigorous feature testing
- Engage with the ColdFusion community, addressing queries and collaborating on improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced coding experience in Java or ColdFusion
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with application servers (IIS, Apache)
- Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Exposure to Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms
- In-depth knowledge of automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, AI-powered tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
Technical Skills Required: Java, ColdFusion, IIS, Apache, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Selenium, Playwright, AI-powered testing tools, Windows, Linux, Mac
