What does the team do?

At ShareChat, India's largest vernacular content platform, the Content Operations team plays a pivotal role in defining and executing strategies for creating and acquiring impactful content, driving monetization efforts, and contributing to overall business growth. Collaborating with creators, partners, product teams, and feed teams, the team ensures the delivery of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with diverse Indian audiences across multiple formats, including audio and video.

What You'll Do?

• Use AI tools to generate, design, and edit visual content, including AI-created images, character shots, and video scenes, to craft powerful, emotionally engaging microdramas, ensuring continuity and smoothness of content.
• Shot-by-shot breakdown of scripts, characters, backgrounds to be used for AI prompts.
• Collaborate with writers and creative directors to translate creative ideas into visually striking AI-driven stories.
• Maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across all content formats.
• Analyze feedback and quickly deliver multiple refined versions optimized for platform performance and audience response.
• Contribute to the development of prompt engineering and prompting techniques.
• Conduct research and experiments based on latest advancements in generative AI and develop insights to enhance the quality and efficiency of generated videos.
• Contribute innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance team processes.

Who You Are?

• 3-6+ months of experience in AI video content generation, video editing, or filmmaking. Freshers with strong creative foundations (film, animation, media, design, VFX or similar) are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on with at least one creative tool: AI tools (e.g., Runway, Midjourney, Nano Banana, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, or similar), editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut), or photo editing/graphic design tools.
• A portfolio of your own work: AI-generated content, video edits, short films, ad films, or college projects.
• Basic understanding of shot types, framing, and shot planning (core to role).
• Strong storytelling instinct and an eye for cinematic composition and detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with a good feel for US tone and dialogue.
• Familiarity with English films, web series, or microdrama genres is a plus.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows (editing, sound, VFX, Excel) is a plus.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-output environments, and adapting to evolving creative briefs and technology.
