Adobe Hiring Software Development Engineer in Bangalore

The Role

The Digital Video Audio (DVA) group builds a portfolio of products across desktop, mobile, and cloud platforms for professional users. The team works on well known offerings such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Mobile, and Video Cloud Services.

In this role, you will contribute to building backend infrastructure and services for video workflows, and may also develop client features for service integration within video applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new frameworks and features while maintaining existing product capabilities across the full development lifecycle, from early specifications and prototypes through implementation, release, and maintenance.
• Participate in product design discussions, estimation, risk evaluation, development, and debugging activities.
• Write clean and functional code for both frontend and backend systems.
• Test software components and resolve bugs or other coding issues.
• Build automation solutions for continuous verification of product features.
• Improve performance, usability, and overall system stability.
• Monitor and debug high traffic systems that operate 24x7 with minimal downtime, including load balancing, failure detection, and failover mechanisms.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop and maintain shared software components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of Java or C++, along with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with client side technologies such as React and TypeScript, and server side technologies including Spring, Hibernate, Docker, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of unit testing and automation frameworks is a plus.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort adapting to changing priorities and development needs.
