Overview
Accounting and Reporting Analyst
ABB is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Analyst to support account receivables and credit activities in line with established strategies, policies, and procedures. The role involves managing and analyzing record-to-report data while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
This is an onsite role within the Finance Business Function, reporting to the Team Lead - General Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting activities and record financial transactions.
- Investigate and reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Execute accounting analyses and prepare reports for finance and business leaders.
- Produce reports, statements of accounts, reconciliations, and sourcing statements.
- Support month-end book closing activities.
- Follow ABB’s core values of safety and integrity in daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Basic understanding of R2R, general accounting, general ledger, and SAP in a shared services or manufacturing environment.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in R2R and SAP.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
