This position reports to the Project Engineer role. In this job, you will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline of low to medium complexity. Each day you will complete assignments on small projects or parts of larger projects in a cost-effective way. You will also apply basic design thinking and design for excellence concepts in your projects.
The work model for this role is onsite. The role contributes to the Motion Business based in Bangalore, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to carry out engineering assignments.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
- Help prepare proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
- Use checklists to verify designs against applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
Role Focus
The Project Engineer for PLC and SCADA is responsible for designing, developing and executing automation solutions across a wide range of industrial applications. The work covers requirement analysis, PLC logic development, SCADA and HMI engineering, customer interaction, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and commissioning.
