Role Overview

ABB is looking for a Spanish-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist with strong process knowledge and a customer-focused approach. The role supports our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations by managing invoice processing, vendor queries and payment-related activities for Spanish-speaking countries within ABB, while keeping work accurate, timely and compliant with ABB policies.

This position contributes to the Finance Services business Accounts Payable division in Bangalore, India. The work model is onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions with accurate tracking and timely completion.
• Carry out accounts payable activities that support accurate and timely reporting, and run assigned analysis and reports, taking action where needed.
• Support internal control over financial reporting compliance in accounts payable for applicable templates.
• Take part in internal control testing and prepare related documentation. Keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress and issues to maximize customer satisfaction, and check invoices for compliance with fiscal and internal control requirements.
• Organize and coordinate tasks, projects or programs in support of a process or internal team.

Language & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking vendors and internal teams.
• Translate financial documents and vendor communications between Spanish and English.
• Keep communication clear and professional across multiple regions.
