Job Description

Data Entry and Maintenance

• Help create, update and maintain master data records across systems such as ERP and CRM.
• Check that data is accurate, complete and consistent.
• Validate and verify data before it is entered into the system.

Data Quality Assurance

• Monitor data quality and carry out regular data cleansing.
• Spot inconsistencies, duplicates and errors, then correct them or escalate as needed.
• Support audits of master data against organizational standards.

Process Improvement

• Learn existing master data management processes and workflows.
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Take part in implementing process automation tools where applicable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with finance, sales, procurement and IT teams to gather data requirements and keep data aligned.
• Support communication between data owners and data users to keep data governance running smoothly.

Reporting and Documentation

• Generate and analyze master data reports for management review.
• Document SOPs and guidelines for master data handling.
• Help prepare training materials on data management best practices for end users.

Compliance and Governance

• Follow data governance policies and standards.
• Support data security and confidentiality initiatives.
• Help enforce regulatory compliance for master data.

Learning and Development

• Attend training on master data management tools and methodologies.
• Keep up with current trends in data management.
• Work under senior MDM specialists to build domain expertise.
