The first stage for the 2026 cycle was an online assessment on May 2 and May 3, 2026.
The company has not publicly disclosed the exact format for future cycles. Registered candidates for a given cycle will receive details through the assessment platform (HirePro). Most likely, expect coding problems, logical reasoning, or technical questions.
One quick heads-up. The test must be taken on a laptop or desktop computer. Mobile devices are not allowed.
Students who clear Round 1 move to the main hackathon phase.
Teams are formed by Texas Instruments. Each team typically has 3 to 4 participants. Participants also get access to a TI mentor who helps guide the project.
The hackathon themes will be announced later for future cycles. They usually relate to software engineering, data platforms, AI tools, or digital systems supporting semiconductor operations.
