Job Description

The Analyst will support regulatory risk and governance work across model review initiatives and Regulatory Adherence Monitoring (RAM). The role covers model review activities, including JIRAs tied to variables and downstream model uses, along with regulatory adherence monitoring to check alignment with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support model review initiatives, including JIRAs tied to variables and downstream model uses.
• Perform Regulatory Adherence Monitoring (RAM) activities, including review of regulatory requirements, business processes, controls and supporting evidence.
• Assess whether processes and controls address regulatory requirements and identify potential adherence gaps.
• Apply an understanding of the model lifecycle and Model Risk Management when reviewing models, variables, rules and decisioning strategies.
• Analyze requirements related to Privacy, Consumer Protection, AI and other emerging regulatory areas and assess their potential impact on business and model activities.
• Document monitoring results, observations and supporting rationale, escalating potential issues where appropriate.
• Partner with Model Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Legal and business stakeholders on regulatory and governance activities.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Risk, Finance, Business, Analytics, Compliance or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of Model Risk Management, model lifecycle, risk management, controls and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Privacy, Consumer Protection, AI and emerging regulatory requirements affecting models and decisioning.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their practical impact.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with RCM, regulatory risk, model governance or JIRA is preferred.
