The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy, invites applications for the Cisco Virtual Internship Program 2025. This initiative is part of a nationwide effort to equip technical students with industry-relevant skills in Networking and Cyber Security, aligning with India’s vision of becoming a global digital talent hub.

• Start Date: Immediately upon selection
• Duration: 2 Months
• Internship Type: Skill-based learning and project
• Location: Pan India (Work-from-home)
• Stipend: Unpaid
• Certificate: Internship completion certificate (based on performance)
• Deadline to Apply: 16 June 2025
• Total Number of Openings: 1,00,000

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the following criteria:

• Should be currently enrolled in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of any engineering or diploma program.
• Must belong to an AICTE-affiliated institution that is a part of Cisco Networking Academy.
• Students in their final year are not eligible to apply.
• The program is open to all technical streams and specializations.

Note: If your institution is not yet part of the Cisco Networking Academy, it can apply for membership to participate.

How to Apply

1. Visit the AICTE Internship Portal

2. Student Registration/Login
   • Register using your academic details and verify your email.
   • If already registered, log in to your existing account.
3. Search for “Cisco Virtual Internship”
   • Select the program from the list of internships.
   • Click on Apply and complete the application form.
4. Enroll in Courses
   • Contact your institution’s NetAcad instructor.
   • Begin your course modules via netacad.com.
   • Complete the required coursework.
5. Earn Digital Badges
   • Upon course completion, students will receive digital credentials.
   • Submit proof of course completion and badges on the portal.
6. Attend Industry Sessions
   • Participate in exclusive Cisco-led webinars and project briefings.
7. Work on Projects
   • Collaborate under the guidance of your NetAcad instructor on assigned problem statements.
8. Final Submission
   • Complete a final quiz and submit your project as part of your evaluation.
9. Get Certified
   • Successful students will be awarded a Cisco Virtual Internship Certificate.
