As an Associate Engineer at United Airlines, you will:
- Participate in the design, development, and planning of software architecture for United's technology platforms.
- Work with strong knowledge of programming paradigms, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and database systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, modular, and robust code using C# and .Net.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile methodology.
- Enjoy flexible work arrangements, working from home or at the office, along with exciting travel opportunities, including free flight travel on an employee pass.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical)
- 1-3 years of experience or knowledge of C# and .Net
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Technology
- Experience or knowledge of SQL, AWS, and Agile methodology
