Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services.
- Assist in developing and improving automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with developers during feature design and implementation.
- Investigate test failures and production defects through root cause analysis.
- Ensure sufficient test coverage for both new and existing features.
- Take part in code reviews and quality discussions.
- Identify edge cases and contribute to improving system stability and reliability.
Skills and Experience
- Strong programming ability in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and basic data structures.
- Experience with at least one UI automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as RestAssured, PyTest, or Postman.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
