Job Description:
Siemens is looking for innovative and driven professionals ready to make an impact in the world of AI/ML. As a Junior Software Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize NLP-driven AI solutions using state-of-the-art models and techniques. You will collaborate with data scientists, backend developers, and cloud architects to build scalable AI-first systems and deploy generative AI solutions that support intelligent, context-aware applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize NLP-driven AI solutions (NER, embeddings, summarization, etc.)
- Build and productionize RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
- Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and deploy LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Falcon, LLaMA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-first systems
- Evaluate and integrate third-party models, APIs, and open-source libraries
- Monitor and improve model performance, latency, and accuracy in production
- Implement observability, performance monitoring, and explainability features
- Ensure enterprise-level requirements for reliability, traceability, and maintainability are met
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field
Technical Skills Required:
Python, LangChain, Transformers (Hugging Face), Llama Index, Smol Agents, NLP, Generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, Vector Search, ML Observability, Explainable AI, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), DevOps for AI pipelines
Preferred Skills:
- Domain knowledge in Electrification, Energy, or Industrial AI is a plus
- Familiarity with Lang Graph, function calling, and orchestration tools for agent-based systems
- Understanding of real-time NLP challenges (streaming, latency optimization, multi-turn dialogues)
