Job Description

As a Software UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for defining how the software should work from an end user point of view.

You will use your background in Interaction Design or Graphic Design to contribute to finished product releases.

You will work with other team members to solve technical issues and author specifications that communicate customer requirements and define the specific commands and interactions required to satisfy them.

You will also build all user interface elements that the end-user interacts with, including images, dialogs and messages.

Prerequisites & Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in UI/UX, Interaction Design, or Graphic Design.
• Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer empathy and problem-solving mindset.
• Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products.

Added Advantage

• Experience with professional Mechanical Design tools such as Solid Edge, NX, SOLIDWORKS, Creo, CATIA, Inventor.
• Experience with Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) systems such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, SOLIDWORKS PDM.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of Academic Products Development (e.g., learning platforms, curriculum-aligned tools, student/teacher-centric applications).
• Understanding of User Research and Persona Creation.
• Information Architecture & User Flows.
• Wireframing & Prototyping.
• Usability Testing.
• A/B Testing.
• User Testing & Feedback Analysis.
• Accessibility and Inclusive Design Principles.
