About the Role

Microsoft is inviting applications for the position of Security Assurance Intern. This internship offers you the opportunity to engage in real-world projects, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to advancing security practices. You will work under supervision to analyze, design, and implement solutions to mitigate security issues while gaining hands-on experience in secure software development and operational security assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze threat trends and anomalies to assess operational impacts and identify mitigation strategies.
• Identify and escalate security vulnerabilities or defects, and address deficiencies in security guidance.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to resolve security issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to security analysis reports and communicate findings and recommendations to decision-makers.
• Plan and schedule security assessments, adjusting priorities based on findings and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least one semester/term of study remaining after the internship.
