About the Role

Microsoft is inviting applications for the position of Security Assurance Intern. You will work under supervision to analyze, design, and implement solutions to mitigate security issues while gaining hands-on experience in secure software development and operational security assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze threat trends and anomalies to assess operational impacts and identify mitigation strategies.
• Identify and escalate security vulnerabilities or defects, and address deficiencies in security guidance.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to resolve security issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to security analysis reports and communicate findings and recommendations to decision-makers.
• Plan and schedule security assessments, adjusting priorities based on findings and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least one semester/term of study remaining after the internship.
