About the Role
You will assist in collecting, analyzing, validating, and maintaining high quality datasets derived from Private Equity and alternative investment documents. The work directly supports the accuracy and timeliness of market data used by global clients for benchmarking and decision making.
This position sits within the Private Markets Data Operations team. It is suited for early career professionals interested in building expertise in Private Equity data, financial statements, and fund structures while developing analytical and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze financial documents received from General and Limited Partners, including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and investment schedules.
- Access GP portals and repositories to download, organize, categorize, and tag fund related documents with accurate metadata.
- Extract, standardize, and validate data from Private Equity documents such as Partners’ Capital Account statements, cash flow reports, and investment schedules.
- Identify relevant accounting breakouts and classify data associated with fund level investments and portfolio companies.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve exceptions raised through manual reviews or automated validation logs.
- Prepare routine reports and conduct basic trend analysis to support internal analytics and operational insights.
- Support data cleansing initiatives to enhance accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives, including basic SQL based data tasks.
- Maintain clear documentation of data collection and validation procedures for audit and reference purposes.
- Work with team members to meet individual and team targets while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to data enhancement, automation, or business expansion.
Work Schedule
This role operates within a global service delivery model. Team members may work rotational shifts aligned with Asia, EMEA, and US business hours depending on operational needs.
During peak reporting periods such as quarter end or year end, extended hours or overlapping shifts may be required to meet delivery timelines.
