About the Role
The Data Operations team at S&P Global is a project-driven international group focused on sustainability data management. The team maintains one of the most comprehensive datasets related to corporate sustainability and supports investors, corporations, and stakeholders with ESG insights. Through a collaborative and agile work environment, the group contributes to innovation in sustainability indices and benchmarking methodologies for global clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and validate sustainability and financial data using established process guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and integrity within the proprietary database.
- Review and synthesize information gathered from multiple sources.
- Meet defined quality and efficiency targets at both individual and team levels.
- Use MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and analysis.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail when handling large datasets.
- Understanding of ESG concepts and sustainability reporting standards.
- Ability to review and interpret corporate documents such as annual reports and sustainability reports.
- Comfort working in rotational shifts and meeting deadlines.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a related domain.
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is considered an advantage.
Preferred Academics
- Degrees in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications related to ESG or sustainability reporting are valued.
- Master’s qualifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA are also considered beneficial.
