About the Role

The Insurance Client Services Apprentice acts as a key contact for clients and helps them maximize the use of the Capital IQ Pro platform for insurance companies. Daily work includes responding to client queries related to the platform and Excel add-in, and coordinating with internal teams when issues need escalation.

The role involves collaborating with content teams and account management groups while ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance. Apprentices also gather client feedback and contribute insights that support the improvement of the platform.

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Provide high quality support to clients using the platform and contribute to a positive customer experience.
  • Interact directly with clients and communicate their feedback to internal teams to support product improvements.
  • Support efforts that enhance data quality, improve operational efficiency, and reduce error rates.
  • Deliver industry based client assistance to S&P Global clients worldwide.
  • Handle inbound client inquiries through phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Stay informed about macroeconomic developments, industry trends, and updates in S&P Global products.
  • Coordinate independently with different internal teams when required.
  • Work collaboratively to meet departmental targets related to client satisfaction.
  • Suggest improvements related to product usability, presentation, and data quality.

Required Qualification and Skill Set

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or an equivalent discipline.
  • Good understanding of financial concepts and the global economy.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance concepts such as premiums, insurance models, and insurance types.
  • Working knowledge of business fundamentals, financial statements, and investments.
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis effectively.
  • Familiarity with common computer programs including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to work evening or night shifts.
  • Flexible work schedule with a requirement of two days working from the office.
