About the Role
Cappitech, part of S&P Global, delivers regulatory reporting and compliance solutions for financial institutions. The platform automates trade and transaction reporting across multiple jurisdictions, helping firms improve accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
As a Business Analyst Apprentice, you will translate regulatory and client requirements into clear product specifications. The role works closely with product, engineering, and client teams to improve data quality, automate workflows, and support compliance reporting solutions.
Apprenticeship Program
- This 12-month apprenticeship program is governed by The Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (India).
- Participants gain hands-on experience while working with industry experts on impactful projects.
- The program includes networking opportunities, business exposure, and structured learning support.
- S&P Global is hiring fresh graduates and postgraduates from the 2025 and 2026 batches.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and regulatory requirements for product enhancements.
- Convert client needs into actionable specifications for engineering and product teams.
- Assist in implementing automated reporting solutions while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows and enhance data quality.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify innovation opportunities.
- Provide support and training to clients for successful product adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to adapt communication styles across different situations.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle across securities, exchange-traded, and OTC derivatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting concepts.
- Basic SQL knowledge is desirable.
- Quick learner with initiative and a focus on delivering quality output.
