About the Role
We are seeking a Recon Ops Analyst to support reconciliation and settlement processes across key payment products. This role is ideal for someone early in their career with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the drive to build expertise in payments operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of transactions for UPI, RuPay cards, PPI, BBPS, and other payment products.
- Identify discrepancies in reports and work with internal teams for timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain reconciliation reports and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with NPCI and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in process documentation, audits, and internal reviews.
- Support the team in improving reconciliation processes and tools.
- Escalate issues as needed and follow up for closure.
- Continuously learn payment flows and develop domain knowledge.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in reconciliation, settlements, or financial operations (banking, NBFC, or fintech preferred).
- Basic understanding of digital payments and NPCI guidelines (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with reconciliation/financial tools is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
