Business Development Intern at Juspay

As a Business Development Intern, you will be at the front line of our growth engine, making the first contact with potential customers and opening doors for our sales executives. This role suits someone with a hustler's mindset who enjoys networking and is not discouraged by cold calls or rejection.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients across industries.
• Reach out to new prospects via email, cold calls and LinkedIn.
• Qualify inbound leads from the website and make the first outbound call.
• Set up meetings with the right sales executive or account manager at Juspay.
• Maintain lead data, activity logs and pipeline updates in the CRM.
• Work closely with the sales team to execute outreach strategies.
• Track daily and weekly KPIs such as calls made, emails sent and meetings scheduled.
• Share market insights, prospect feedback and competitor intel with the team.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A hustler mentality: energetic, persistent and unafraid of rejection.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of sales, marketing or business development is a plus.
• Comfortable using tools such as LinkedIn, Google Workspace and a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
• Self-driven with a hunting mindset and eagerness to learn.
