Software Engineer I

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer – Data to join the team. The role involves working on modern data platforms, building scalable data pipelines, and supporting data-driven business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines along with ETL/ELT workflows.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Build and manage data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
- Create data processing and transformation scripts using Python.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to maintain data quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to gather data requirements.
- Support data validation, testing, and performance optimization activities.
- Document technical designs, processes, and data flows.
Required Skills
- 0–3 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience working with Databricks and Apache Spark concepts.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
Good to Have
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
