About the Internship
Airbus India is offering an exciting Project Management Internship within its Digital Workplace (IIDW) department in Bangalore. This division focuses on Employee Collaboration, Devices & Services, and Operational Performance. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
Duration
The internship is ideally for a period of six months, starting around March/April 2026, with some flexibility on dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in setting up project charters, maintaining and tracking project plans, timelines, and budgets using project management tools.
- Support change management activities, including preparing communication materials, training documents, and conducting stakeholder analysis.
- Analyze current business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including scope documents, risk registers, and status reports.
- Prepare consolidated views of ongoing projects and implement structured monitoring of key metrics for leadership updates.
- Promote organizational adoption of new processes, tools, and transformation initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
- Experience with process improvement techniques like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools like SharePoint and Confluence.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
