Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data to support informed decision-making. You will apply statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns, and communicate findings through reports and visualizations. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply. You should also have a solid grasp of statistics and data analysis techniques, along with proficiency in programming languages and data visualization tools.

Main Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to drive business decisions and improve performance.
• Gather relevant data from internal and external sources, clean and prepare raw data to ensure quality.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights.
• Create charts, graphs, and other visual representations to communicate findings effectively through storytelling, and advise users on best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations to share insights with stakeholders.
• Utilize and maintain relevant software and tools for data analysis and visualization.
• Be familiar with basic statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, Monte Carlo simulations, expected values, standard errors, Central Limit Theorem, and confidence intervals.
• Draw accurate conclusions from data to avoid biases and poor decision-making.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with internal requirements and external regulations.
• Work closely with other teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Act as the interface between functions, the data ecosystem, and the requested solution.
• Coach the function in a data-driven mindset.
• Contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data community.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matlab, Tableau). Participation in AI-based challenges such as Kaggle with good ranking is preferred. Experience or projects with LLM, computer vision, and 3-D vision will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of full stack programming is an advantage.
