Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to help the organization make informed decisions. You will use statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns, and communicate your findings through reports and visualizations. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply. A solid understanding of statistics, data analysis techniques, and proficiency in programming languages and data visualization tools are also essential.

Main Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support informed business decisions and improve overall performance.
• Gather relevant data from internal and external sources, then clean and prepare it to ensure data quality.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from the data.
• Create charts, graphs, and other visual representations to communicate findings effectively through clear storytelling, and advise users on best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations to share insights with stakeholders.
• Utilize and maintain relevant software and tools for data analysis and visualization.
• Be familiar with basic statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, Monte Carlo simulations, expected values, standard errors, Central Limit Theorem, and confidence intervals to draw accurate conclusions and avoid biases.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with internal requirements and external regulations.
• Work closely with other teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Act as the interface between functions, the data ecosystem, and the requested solution.
• Coach the function in a data-driven mindset.
• Actively contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matlab, Tableau).
• Participation in AI-based challenges such as Kaggle with good ranking is preferred.
• Experience or projects with LLM, computer vision, and 3D vision will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of full stack programming is an advantage.
