As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you will provide professional support for purchase order processing and carry out tactical sourcing activities. Your role involves negotiating with suppliers, setting up and maintaining relationships with IBM clients and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with IBM Procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle PR to PO activities, including purchase requisition review, PO creation, PO amendments, supplier coordination, catalog support, invoice exception research, help desk ticket management, and customer inquiries.
• Manage customer service requests and stakeholder interactions professionally within agreed timelines.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Apply strong process knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to resolve procurement-related queries and exceptions.
• Guide junior team members when required and contribute to high-quality customer and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, or a related field.
• Typically possesses 0-3 years of experience in procurement operations, PR to PO, sourcing support, finance operations, shared services, or customer support functions.
• Experience working within SLA-driven environments and supporting global stakeholders.
