Honeywell Pune Hiring Systems Engr I SPARTS Planner | Supply Chain

The Supply Chain Planner builds and maintains end-to-end supply plans that balance customer demand, inventory levels, production capacity and material availability. The role works with procurement, manufacturing, logistics and customer-facing teams to protect service levels while improving inventory optimization and supply chain efficiency.

The individual supports business growth by spotting supply risks early, improving planning accuracy and helping teams make timely decisions across the supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning and Demand Alignment

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on customer demand forecasts, production capacity and inventory strategies.
• Analyze demand and supply requirements to find gaps, constraints and risks.
• Balance customer service requirements with inventory and operational objectives.
• Handle demand fluctuations through scenario planning and mitigation strategies.
• Review and update planning assumptions, lead times and planning parameters.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing locations.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining target service levels.
• Identify excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Make sure inventory is positioned to meet customer requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Buyers and Front Office teams.
• Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to keep supply plans aligned.
• Take part in planning reviews and operational governance meetings.

Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

• Identify supply chain risks and develop recovery plans.
• Monitor supplier constraints, manufacturing bottlenecks and logistics challenges that may affect business performance.
• Support process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Drive standardization and best practices across planning processes.

Reporting and Analytics

• Track and analyze key supply chain performance indicators.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on inventory, supply plans, service levels and delivery performance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational performance.
• Support monthly business reviews and planning cycles.
