The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team focuses on ensuring that platforms remain highly available, scalable, performant, secure, and observable.
Design reliable and resilient systems
Automate operational tasks
Reduce operational toil through engineering practices
Improve reliability with monitoring, incident management, and post-incident analysis
The team collaborates closely with development, security, and product teams. Apprentices work alongside experienced SRE and DevOps engineers and receive guided support during their learning journey.
As an SRE Apprentice, you will learn how modern production systems are designed and operated at scale. The role suits candidates interested in cloud infrastructure, automation, troubleshooting, and maintaining large systems that run continuously.
You will begin with guided assignments and gradually take ownership of smaller components and improvements as your technical knowledge develops.
Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Support CI/CD pipelines used for application deployment
Help configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Participate in incident response activities with supervision
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings
Develop basic automation scripts to reduce manual operational tasks
Maintain technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and system diagrams
Work with development teams to improve reliability and system performance
Basic understanding of the following areas is beneficial but not mandatory:
Linux or Unix systems
Networking concepts such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
Cloud computing fundamentals
Scripting using languages like Python or Bash
Git and version control practices
Container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
Monitoring platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
During the apprenticeship, participants gain hands-on exposure to production-grade systems and modern SRE and DevOps practices. You will learn about cloud infrastructure, monitoring, automation, incident response, and reliability engineering while receiving mentorship and performance feedback.
This experience provides a strong technical base for a long-term career in SRE or DevOps engineering.
Full-time apprenticeship, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Occasional flexibility may be required to coordinate with global teams
Competitive stipend
Professional development opportunities and mentorship
Paid time off as per company policy
