This structured role provides apprenticeship support within investigation operations.

Purpose

This apprenticeship support role aims to strengthen operational coordination across various tasks, including video footage handling, audit preparation, tracker maintenance, and repository hygiene.

Role 1: Video Footage Coordination Assistant

Role Focus:

This position supports investigation readiness by coordinating video evidence requests, validating receipt, ensuring naming consistency, managing storage, and escalating issues with missing or incomplete recordings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Download CCTV videos from various approved sources, such as Eagle Eye, DVRs, and SharePoint links.
• Verify the receipt of requested videos from test centers.
• Rename videos to adhere to standard naming conventions.
• Organize footage into folders based on case, site, and date.
• Maintain trackers for video requests and receipts.
• Upload videos to designated storage locations.
• Escalate instances of missing, corrupted, or incomplete recordings.

Role 2: Audit Support Coordinator

Role Focus:

This role supports audit execution by maintaining trackers, preparing review materials, and coordinating documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update audit trackers.
• Prepare audit packets and checklists prior to reviews.
• Raise Service Direct audit appointment cases using approved templates.
• Follow up with sites for any missing documents or recordings.
• Record status updates within trackers.
• Maintain audit calendars and completion logs.
• Reconcile site lists against audit planners.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Update SharePoint repositories.
• Track team training completion.
• Perform quality checks on file naming conventions.
