Overview
Role Overview:
As a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer Intern, you will design and optimize AI-driven finance solutions, develop LLM-powered workflows, and integrate advanced voice and RAG capabilities to enhance product performance. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure low-latency, high-accuracy financial AI interactions while continuously refining prompt and model performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design conversational flows optimized for voice, considering speech patterns, pauses, and pronunciation clarity
- Build finance AI agents with agentic architectures and hierarchical workflows
- Implement continuous prompt refinement, A/B testing, and performance QA for financial AI use cases
- Fine-tune and optimize LLMs (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude) for finance operations
- Integrate retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with financial APIs and enterprise knowledge bases
- Collaborate on voice integration with speech recognition, intent extraction, LiveKit, and telephony APIs
- Architect LLM systems with third-party tool integrations for email and chat interfaces
- Develop complementary AI components like OCR models, intelligent chatbots, and automated approval systems
- Stay up to date with LLM and AI research and best practices
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
Experience Required: 0.5 – 2 years in Machine Learning, Statistics, LLM fine-tuning, or prompt engineering
Skills Required: Python, Google Cloud, Python back-end development, LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, natural language processing, NLP libraries, RAG integration, speech recognition, intent extraction, OCR, chatbot development, version control (Git), AI system optimization
