Overview
Job Description
- Handle invoicing, emailing and courier dispatch of finance documents.
- File and maintain records, and prepare, send, sort and distribute faxes, mail, e-mail and reports as needed.
- Carry out data entry using various computer programs, word processing and spreadsheets as required.
- Make sure accounts receivable receipts are posted accurately and on time, using banking platforms and customer information in the system or spreadsheets.
- Keep daily bank reconciliations accurate and escalate any issues to your supervisor promptly.
- Make sure accounts payable invoices and customer refunds are paid accurately and on time, as instructed.
- Review discrepancies in incoming data, request clarification or inform your supervisor of data issues, and run data verification routines per company procedures.
- Work with departmental and other staff on data matters, and recommend improvements to job processes to maintain standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.
- Deliver quality work within deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a graduate or higher qualification.
