Job Description

The Asset Movement Team (AMT) Analyst functions as an extension of local branch management, reviewing and approving incoming and outgoing money movement transactions. The role involves working with multiple internal systems to ensure each transaction receives the proper authorization.

The analyst collaborates with Regional Leaders and Field Service Team Managers to address issues that arise during request processing. Responsibilities include following firm and industry regulations to protect client assets, prevent fraud, and ensure client instructions are correctly executed.

In addition, the role includes cross‑training to review travel and entertainment expense reimbursement requests and perform basic checks of documents related to new account openings and account modifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality client service while supporting transaction processing activities.
• Collaborate with Morgan Stanley branch personnel to review and approve money movement requests promptly.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong quality standards.
• Communicate with senior management and branch teams when required.
• Use internal resources and critical thinking to resolve escalations.
• Apply risk and compliance policies to help prevent fraud and safeguard client assets.
• Stay updated on SEC/FINRA regulations, compliance standards, and firm policies related to transactions.
• Participate in assigned projects and technology pilot initiatives.
• Handle additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic clerical and administrative capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good interpersonal and client service skills.
• Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and sound decision-making.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
