Role Overview
Morgan Stanley is looking for an Analyst to join the Legal and Compliance division within the Employee Trading and Investing team. The group supports the firm in managing legal, regulatory, and franchise risk while helping the organization meet its business objectives.
This Analyst position sits within the Oversight, Monitoring and Testing function and focuses on monitoring employee trading activity and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their personal investing and external business activities.
- Ensure account-related documentation is accurate and properly maintained.
- Review personal account trading activity carried out by employees and ensure it aligns with regulatory and internal policies.
Required Skills and Background
- Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks across different jurisdictions.
- Understanding of financial markets and financial products.
- Comfort working with technology and identifying improvements that enhance system efficiency.
- Ability to recognize and assess potential risk implications.
- Strong analytical ability and clear communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
