The program introduces talented students in India to advanced research and modern technology while preparing them for careers in research and engineering. The M365 Research group includes researchers working on advancing the frontiers of computer science and related technologies.
Candidates should submit a resume along with at least one letter of recommendation. After completing the application, an option will appear in the Action Center to add recommenders. Once added, they receive an automated email with a link to upload their recommendation letters. Applicants are also required to complete the self‑assessment form as part of the process.
Target candidates include students currently enrolled in a university or those who have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline between 2025 and 2027.
MSR India conducts research across many areas of computer science, and internships are available throughout these domains. Although positions are offered throughout the year, many internships begin during the summer.
During the internship, students are paired with mentors and collaborate with researchers and fellow interns. Participants are expected to contribute to ongoing projects, present their findings, and actively engage with the research community.
All internships are paid, and support with visa applications is provided when required.
