About the Role
Meta is looking for talented and driven Software Engineers to join our Bangalore team. As part of our engineering division, you will contribute to building innovative products that connect billions of people worldwide. You will work on challenging technical problems, develop new features, and enhance existing products across mobile and web platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class team pushing the boundaries of user experience and connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of assigned product areas, codebases, and systems.
- Apply strong programming and data analysis skills to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code using modern frameworks and abstractions.
- Work independently to overcome challenges, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Follow Meta’s software development standards from coding to deployment.
- Engage in constructive feedback sessions in line with Meta’s performance culture.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or in the process of completion) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Proficiency in at least one industry-standard programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Valid work authorization for employment in India at the time of hire and throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous software engineering experience through internships, projects, competitions, or publications.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (in progress or completed).
