Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer I to join our Digital Network Services team. You will contribute to developing next-generation core payment products, focusing on quality, automation, and innovation in a cloud-native, scaled agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases
- Validate application codebases for new features and regression testing using automation frameworks
- Perform performance testing to ensure scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large datasets
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to report bugs and suggest improvements
- Mentor junior team members and share business/product knowledge
- Own end-to-end product quality, including defect management, reporting, and metrics creation
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and information security guidelines
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Application Automation experience using Java (Must)
- Experience with manual and automated testing for web applications and APIs
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven
- Experience in Agile/SAFe environments
- Strong SQL skills for data validation
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous software development experience is a plus
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
