Roles & Responsibilities

• Learn and apply tax compliance process standards for corporate and partnership projects from initiation through completion.
• Gather tax data and manage documents for preparing basic tax return filings and deliverables. Analyze and process tax and financial data using one or more of KPMG's proprietary tax technology tools to produce client compliance deliverables.
• Handle and complete multiple tasks within set timelines and in line with quality control standards.
• Work with the engagement lead using clear communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals that support quality client service.
• Take part in periodic training and professional development.
• Apply skills from training to improve the use of tax technology and the quality of tax deliverables and services.

Federal and State Tax

• Populate simple single entity federal, state and international tax returns using tax software and tools, with inputs for complex items provided.
• Perform effective self-review to produce quality work with minimal errors.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues of simple complexity.
• Apply knowledge from training programs and interpret a range of tax concepts effectively.
