Job Summary

Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst for Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai. The role supports teams that build products and contribute to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the defined cost accounting activities
• Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics
• Drive time saving and cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements
• Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups
• Post month end journal entries for accruals and reclassifications in the ERP
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest processes and document them in the DMS
• Learn the role and serve as a backup for the cost accountant

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For

• Basic knowledge of MS applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Good team player with analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills in day to day processes
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, with the ability to understand and interpret accounting policies
