Overview
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out defined cost accounting activities in accordance with corporate policies.
- Monitor and follow up on key cost accounting metrics to ensure compliance.
- Implement initiatives to save time and reduce costs through process improvements and kaizen practices.
- Collaborate with operations teams to investigate and address metric non-conformances.
- Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclassifications in ERP systems.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures aligned with current processes, documenting them in the DMS.
- Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant role.
