Job Summary

The Graduate Apprentice Trainee role involves completing structured on the job training while assisting with general manufacturing activities. The trainee works under supervision and gradually develops the knowledge required to transition into a support level manufacturing position.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in on the job training programs to build the skills needed for a manufacturing support role.
• Carry out basic to moderately complex manufacturing tasks as instructed during the training period.
• Complete required testing or certification related to the assigned training area when necessary.
• Follow all safety and health guidelines applicable to the role and workplace.
• Comply with company security policies and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties or responsibilities assigned by supervisors when required.

Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic writing ability and capability to interpret visual aids.
• Apply common sense understanding to follow simple one or two step instructions.
• Handle standardized tasks with minimal variation.
• Perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret diagrams or graphs.
