About the Role
Fortrea is seeking a motivated IT Project Management Apprentice to join our dynamic and global team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in project management within a collaborative environment, ideal for recent graduates looking to start a career in IT project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and apply IT project management methodologies.
- Learn and understand Fortrea's IT PMO processes and procedures.
- Monitor project activities against established processes and assist project managers in managing their projects.
- Track project statuses in line with plans, risks, and reporting requirements.
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Administer updates to PMO processes, communicate changes, and provide guidance as needed.
- Undertake additional tasks as identified by the team.
Required Skills
- Strong communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently.
- Understanding of IT PMO methodologies, processes, and technical documentation.
- Logical thinking and grasp of IT project methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Optional: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Optional: Familiarity with Agile processes.
Experience & Education
- 0–1 years of relevant experience.
- Recent graduate in an IT-related degree such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
