Position Overview
Airbus is looking for a detail focused and technically inclined IT Operations Specialist to join the team. This entry level role suits individuals who want to begin a career in IT operations while helping keep internal systems running smoothly.
The role combines foundational IT support activities such as system monitoring, troubleshooting, and user setup with data entry and administrative tasks like maintaining databases, tracking technical assets, and ensuring data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Systems Operations
- System Monitoring: Assist with monitoring system performance, overall health, and data quality.
- User Support & Provisioning: Support onboarding by setting up workstations, configuring user accounts (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and resolving basic hardware or software issues.
- Asset Management: Track and maintain records of company IT inventory including laptops, monitors, and software licenses.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of IT support tickets, issue resolutions, and system updates.
Data Entry & Administration
- Data Maintenance: Enter, update, and maintain records across company databases.
- Quality Assurance: Review and cross check technical data to ensure accuracy and correct discrepancies.
- Reporting: Assist with compiling and formatting routine operational and data reports for management.
- File Organization: Organize and digitize records while maintaining a clear and structured digital filing system.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and ServiceNow.
- Data Accuracy: Experience using data entry tools or working with databases is beneficial.
- Troubleshooting: Logical approach to resolving basic hardware and software issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage routine data entry tasks alongside changing technical support requests.
