Privacy Statement

Infosys Limited, with its registered office at Electronics City, Hosur Road, Bangalore – 560100, along with its subsidiaries, associates, and affiliated companies (collectively referred to as “Infosys”), collects and processes Personal Information (PI) and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) from candidates in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Personal Information refers to data that can directly or indirectly identify an individual when combined with other available information held by a body corporate.

Personal Data Collected

• Candidate name, email address, phone number, and address
• Date of birth
• College roll number
• Photograph and resume
• Educational information including X, XII, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation, and Post-Graduation details such as CGPA, specialization or branch, institute and university names, year of passing, state, and country
• Background verification information, where applicable, including court convictions, legal proceedings, sanctions, or investigations by regulatory authorities
• For shortlisted candidates, facial images captured during interviews or proctored assessments and related AI/ML-based facial analysis results

Purpose of Processing

The personal data collected is used to support the Infosys recruitment process, including candidate identification during application and interview stages. The information may also be used to confirm interview availability through IVR calls, send reminders, collect feedback, and facilitate background verification.

Facial images collected during various stages may be compared using automated AI/ML algorithms to confirm identity and prevent impersonation or fraud. The information may also be used for internal coordination, status updates among authorized users, surveys, and compliance with applicable employment or legal requirements.

Data Recipients

The collected personal data may be accessed by authorized personnel within Infosys, including teams from recruitment, human resources, finance, facilities, immigration, project delivery units, and organizational leadership. Authorized service providers, auditors, clients (where contractually required), and government or regulatory authorities may also access the information when necessary.
